Delina Mountain Resort

This resort is a great gem with onsite taverna and spa. The staff at the resort were welcoming and helpful during our stay. Maria was very accommodating when we used the spa area. The pool was very clean and the spa had massages and facials available for guests. The rooms were well stocked with supplies. The restaurant onsite had delicious food. It was a nice surprise to see the animals who live on the resort. There was also a viewing deck, a stone amphitheater, pond, herb garden and more. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Highly recommend this resort! We had a very relaxing experience and the staff were lovely.

Lovely buildings. The master suite was a wonderful surprise, one of the walls being a rock face! Very comfortable rooms with logs for a fire, must be great in winter although we didn't need it! Pool was a good size and water temperature just right for swimming. Enjoyed sauna facilities. The bar where we had our evening meal had lovely views, meal was simple but well cooked and the halva and yoghurt dessert was a real treat! A good choice of breakfast and you could squeeze your own orange juice which was really sweet. Very well placed for exploring geopark, with information centre just down the road.

Maria the therapist at the spa is both talented,intuitive and warm hearted. Pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath all meticulously clean. The cook at the taberna was excellent, every item (including mountain specialties)was cooked from scratch Gentle tinkle of sheep bells as they returned home from high meadows Collection of bird, herding dogs nearby all very sweet and not intrusive Beautiful mountain views and gentle hiking. Would be a beautiful destination wedding venue,chapel on premises.

We got an upgrade as it was Monday when we arrived and the only guests. The Junior Suute got a nice view to the snow capped moutains which was nice. That side gives you also a view on a sheep garden and a place for peacocks, chicken and goats. You hear them. You smell them. And tît was maybe because of pre-season that not all surroundings where nice and neat. Anyhow. The room was nice, the bathroom big and clean. The bed sheet hat hairs on it and got some stains which couldn't washed-out, so clean yes, but somehow you feel unfomrtable with that. The breakfast was served at our room as we were the only guest that days. We selcted some bread and "croissants" and at the first morning cappuchina which was in fact nothing you can call that. Next day we tried "filter cafe". Yes, it came not in a cup but in a french press, but again it was just instant coffee. Luckily we got our own real coffee and thanks to a water boiler that worked out fine for us with the milk we ordered. So overall OK with some improvement potential. The Spa was open and we had a swim in the not too cold water. The Hamaan/Sauna cost 30 Euro each extra. The locaction is great to hikes and to explore Angonia and surroinding.

The surroundings are amazing, the rooms very nice and the staff super friendly! We received an upgrade to a junior suite, the room was super nice and comfy with a breathtaking view. We used the pool, despite our late arrival and it was really relaxing.. Many thanx to the spa employee that recommended the pool and even turned on the jacuzzi for us! We really enjoyed our stay and we are definitely returning.
